Posted a month or so ago for my NGD. The bond is growing stronger by the day.

Is that "a cue stick" guitar?

Sorry...

Sorry...
It's an archtop, it can handle it.

Maybe someday (when I get to Nashville) I'll get my Tacoma re-finished. Then I'll have more sexy pool table shots to post.

...all right, i'll stop now...

Edit: For some reason the photo shows up sideways on my iPad and correctly on my laptops.
----
Mine hangs on the wall of my bistro. I still record with it more than any guitar I own though.
These were taken with my smart phone. Resolution is not so great. But it's a great guitar.

4" deep on the sides, probably 4.5 or 5" deep at the front arch & rear hump.
Mahogany back & sides, Spruce top. Schaller tuners, KA mini-humbucker.
Ebony tail-piece. I use this guitar more on recordings than any other.

It's on several cuts of my Youtube channel - mostly plugged in.

It's also the loudest unplugged arch-top I've ever played. Note the short, fat
F-holes. My luthier screwed them up. And what resulted was a louder guitar.
I wouldn't trade it for much more expensive instruments.

It's got my name on the headstock.

Just noticed the question, yes it has a signed label inside. I didn't know about Tamura D'Angelico connection.

I just finished a series or Western Swing gigs with it, and it was just the ticket for getting that old sound.

Default Archtop Photo Thread

I thought I revive this thread since I recently got my first archtop... a '54 ES 125.
