Default Ted Thompson T-3 Deluxe - TRADED

Beautiful 2007 Ted Thompson T-3 Deluxe mahogany jumbo. Excellent + condition. Made in 2007. Has D’Marzio Angel pickup installed.
TRADED.

Ted Thompson does build beautiful looking and sounding guitars. This jumbo sounds sweet and clear fingerpicked as well as strummed.

This is a RIDICULOUSLY excellent price for a Thompson in minty condition. His large T3s are balanced, responsive, and yet with good bass response. I've played quite a few - one of his T3 is in the top 5 guitars I ever played and that's including some Ryans and Olsons. 16.5" lower bout. Ted builds with tremendous integrity and is a perfectionist in the best sense of the word - where he miters everything and joins everything for maximum contact, even the things that no one else will ever see once glued together.

Somebody - grab this. Really - if a balanced mahogany jumbo is your thing, can't imagine beating this value for a solo luthier made guitar. (I think the current $ is about $4K?)

There is an inherent richness in Thompson guitars that is out of the main.

It is a fantastic sounding / playing guitar, with well-balanced tone with piano-like note separation. Set up and added bone bridge pins. The more I play it the better it sounds and feels.

PayPal (F&F) or buyer pays fees.

Thanks for the kind words!
Yep, Teds's guitars are truly special, smooth and articulate, an almost glassy response, airer even than most Goodalls.
I play plugged in a lot and tried a few different pickups in this T3, but none really did the guitar justice - too boxy - too 'compressed' - not a natural sound.
Then I stumbled onto one of the original Angel pickups...
This one is Active and has a sound hole volume control - it sounds fantastic!
I've included a pic of the Angel pickup. This guitar now has one of the sweetest and most unique plugged in tones I've ever heard!

+1. Skip and I have done a few deals/transactions and he is a pleasure to do business with, and his gear is as described.
