Just try to order a CPU or graphics card to build a PC right now... you need more patience than money.

I went through that in the summer of 2019 when I built my pc. I wanted the Ryzen 9 3900X cpu and it was near impossible to get. I wound up buying it on ebay and paying a premium price for it.

Recently I've been thinking about doubling up my ram from 32 to 64 because some of the photography work I've been doing lately is causing a slight lag. I put a few options in my Amazon cart and the prices have all jumped 20-30 bucks since early December.

Ha. Yes. (yay) , no did not vanish ,,, prototypically (because of where I live )
The package left the Denver area on Fed EX got routed west on I-80 went past Rock Springs 187 miles to Fed EX's main distribution hub in Salt Lake City Utah.. (got a Fed Ex tracking delivery exception notice Wed ) sat for a day then was routed east, and back to Rock Springs another 187 miles,,, and from Rock Springs finally to me, yesterday BUT I am now up and running. I will post some photos and first thoughts shortly. Still waiting on DB 25's for full Carbonation

Ok so it came had an outer brown cardboard box and this is the unit box.

For those who may not know the Bluish Purple triangles are Avid's Logo,, a stylized version AVID. it is what is also lit in light blue/purple on the Carbon unit Face also


Here is inside pretty sparse just the interface below and the accessory box with power chord, Cat 6 (AVB =Audio Video Bridge protocol ) Ethernet Cable to connect to computer , rubber feet for desktop, or screws for rack mount and a Redemption code Registration card .

Congrats Kev. That's a nice looking box. I really hope there's a 16 channel version planned. My cable order for the 312s went in on Dec 21st. I wonder which of us will be waiting longer.
