Great fun!
Is the "Peter Gunn" section as hard as I think it is?

Classic Freddie King! I play so much bluegrass and it kills me that they worship Doc Watson and Tony Rice and have no idea about any other guitar players. I was a huge fan. A voice like Ray Charles and killer, focused guitar playing that inspired EC, Allman, Warren Hanyes, etc.
On a blues/bluegrass note, I was with some bluegrass old timey folks and we decided to play some electric. I broke out Chitlin Con Carne in Am and they were not into it. The old timey guy was even too cool to take a solo when I sent it his way. And he was a good player. I guess he was too cool for classic Jr Wells and Buddy Guy. But if it was Monroe's Bluegrass Stomp it would have been ok. Sorry... letting off steam. I;ve messed with a fingerpicking version too. Nice playing. Its a great call. Keep em coming... |

Actually, it's really just a few chord shapes... and, as you said, it's Great fun!
