This, I agree with. The only difference between my "electric 'board" and my "acoustic 'board" is the addition of a Boss DS1. BTW, it's the same pedal board! Sorry, no pics...

Over the years, I've experimented with various effect pedals and came to the realization that simple setup is best (for me, at least). My current setup is:

Acoustic Guitar (LR Baggs Anthem pickup) -> Turbo Tuner -> Radial JDI -> Mixing board.

Where did you get that? They can't be found just anywhere.

Absolutely, and if used prudently, it's kinda handy. FX are like spices...often, a little goes a long way.

guitar -> wah-> overdrive -> compressor-> tremolo -> vibrato -> phaser -> flanger -> chorus -> digital delay - amp or PA, depending on how loud the drummer du jour is.

I only use my pedal board for trio gigs...solo, the PA's built-in reverb, barely noticable, is plenty.

Sweet- nice layout. I think we all are usually in a revision cycle! Pedals are to pedal aficionados as mushrooms are to Hobbits- you never get enough.

Must ask: Is the digital clock just a clock, or do you use it for anything else?

Sometimes a clock is just a clock :-)

But it is one of the most useful things on stage for keeping sets and breaks on target :-)!

Agreed! I thought it a neat idea when I saw it in your pic.

Regards! Bill.

not sure of why the controversy. there are acoustic purists and that's fine and there are those who use mountains of effects, loopers and what all and that's fine. whatever it takes to make the music you want to make!
i play 7 string acoustic electric with pedalboards and looper. noone ever mistakes it for electric guitar (although they do hear bass there because it is there)
www.roberttemplemusic.com
www.soundcloud.com/roberttemple-1 (where the 7 string is)
