One of my very favorite tunes probably ever written. Great job. Played it tonight at my gig and its always refreshing to hear someone else's take on it. I too often play it faster than it should be.

I also tend to play it faster. I tried deliberately to slow it down here, but its difficult somehow. The way JT blends his voice and guitar is difficult to replicate. Thx so much for listening! Dan

Great version. JT has to be one of my favorite songwriters. Enjoyed the singing and playing.

I'll do an iPhone recording and put it up. I only recently added it to my repertoire after so many years. I play sort of a combination of the original and James' current version which is a bit fancier.

I do find it interesting that JT now puts the capo at 3 when it was originally recorded with the capo at fret 2. Not many of us sing songs higher as we get older! LOL

That performance is a wow for me. Very, very nice and vocals remind me of Cat Stevens. Two thumbs up.
