As rare as a chicken's teeth...Indeed. Gorgeous Buscarino Gigmaster.

John's carved instruments range from $8000.-$20,000. The Gigmaster (when it was offered) was intended as a gigable archtop at a price a working musician could afford.

With it's pressed spruce top it shares many characteristics of a carved instrument IMO. Wonderful snap/response from the spruce top and a wonderful bottom end and even character from the 17'' lower bout. With the Buscarino floating p/u the instrument retains it's wonderful acoustic qualities even when amplified. Very generous volume, clarity and projection when played acoustically. The neck profile is peticularly appealing.

The full specs are detailed in the Buscarino link I'm providing. These sold new for $5000. US. When they come up they range between $3000. - $4000. ish USD used.
