For sale is a 2014 Martin HD-28 Custom, spec'd by My Favorite Guitars. This guitar is based off an HD-28 Standard but features a VTS (Vintage Tone System / Aged) Adirondack Spruce top, scalloped Adirondack Golden Era Adirondack, grained ivoroid binding, a solid one-piece mahogany neck with a Performing Artist profile (VERY comfortable) 1 3/4" nut, 2 3/16" bridge spacing, and nickel Waverly tuners. The original MSRP on this build was $6412, back in 2014. Today, it would easily be $7,000+.

This guitar is basically a D-28 Marquis but with a far more comfortable neck profile, VTS top and Waverly tuners. It's in near mint condition with minor signs of handling and minor fret wear. Tall saddle with action right around 6/64" and 4/64" at the 12th fret, neck angle is perfect. A pickup was installed at one point so an input jack is in place. This guitar has huge bass, prominent mids, and thick trebles. It's powerful up and down the fretboard and just sounds beautiful, but I'm sticking with my Huss and Dalton TD-R for now due to the 1 23/32" nut width mod V neck which is a bit more comfortable for me.
