[SALE CLOSED] 2005 McElroy OOO Sitka/Maple
NO LONGER FOR SALE - thanks.
Super playable, beautiful sounding OOO from LaConner, Washington-based master luthier Brent McElroy. Sitka top with highly figured Big Leaf maple back and sides. The neck, bindings, heel cap, fretboard cap and burled soundhole ring are Maple too!      Other features and specs: Ebony fretboard and bridge Pearl "tiny dot" position markers Bound fretboard Bone nut and saddle (compensated) 15" lower bout 1 3/4" nut width 24.9" scale 4 3/16" body depth at end pin Original hardshell case included. Nickel plated open back Waverly tuners It currently needs a setup, as there is some buzzing on the low E, and the B and E strings are not ringing out fully (I'd say they sound a little "pinched"). But watch the video and you'll hear how it sounds. There is a bit of residue from a past bridge reglue. But aside from the issues mentioned, it's super clean. These are wonderful guitars! I would suggest, however, to have the set-up done, & then sell it. People are hesitant to buy a guitar with an "undiagnosed" situation.

I didn't get this set up prior to listing because I figured the buyer would want to set it up to his specs anyway, so I priced it lower to compensate for the setup cost. But if there's anyone who's on the fence about this guitar and would buy it if I had it setup first, please let me know.
