Default *** SALE PENDING *** 2012 Froggy Bottom P12 (LOCAL SALE ONLY - Southern California)

Well, as much as I love all my Froggys, I need to cut down a bit, and am looking to prob go from 5 to 3. Tough call on which ones to let go, but the parlors probably get the least amount of playing time.

So, up for sale here is my 2012 Froggy P12, in Adi/Mahogany. It is in excellent condition -- I would call it 9/10 conservatively. Only blemishes I see are a couple of small nicks on the back of the headstock -- prob due to string changes (tried to show this in some pics)....and of course, the typical light swirls on the pick-guard that can only be seen at certain angles in bright lighting.

As many Froggy parlor owners have often stated, it is extraordinary how Michael Millard and his crew manage to get so much volume and tone out of a small body guitar. It is a delight to play, both finger-style and even moderate strumming. And it is so easy/comfortable to hold and play for an extended period. Also, Michael Millard has stated that Mahogany is one of his all-time favorite tone-woods.

I would like this to be a local-only sale. I am in Orange County, but would consider meeting halfway to San Diego or Los Angeles counties.

The specs:

Body/model: P-12
Frets to neck join: 12 fret
Scale length: 24.75"
Nut width: 1.75"
Neck carve: slim C shape
Saddle string spacing: 2 3/16"
Lower bout: 13.75" wide
Lower bout depth 4.25"
Top: Adi/Red Spruce
Back/sides: Mahogany

Priced to sell at $3,900. Pretty sure you will have a very hard time finding a better deal anywhere for a Froggy Bottom. And, on top of that, the P12 model is highly coveted.

I have no real need or urgency to sell, so if this doesn't attract any interest...esp at this price, don't think I will have any qualms just holding onto it. But, if someone in the area has been looking to jump onto the Froggy train, this is a great opportunity!

Comes with the standard AVS hardcase, also in excellent condition.

Thanks for looking.

Thumbs up

My goodness, this is the best deal on AGF today. Awesome guitar (Froggy P12's are crazy good instruments), great seller (highest integrity, excellent communication, totally reliable partner) and insanely good price for an outstanding Froggy.

At this price, it would be reasonable for anyone west of the Mississippi to drive to SoCal for this local sale.

Andy, thanks for such kind words. Appreciate the endorsement for the product and for me! Much appreciated. You are right that Froggy Bottoms are amazing instruments and their P12 is one of their most popular models for good reason!

Whoa, crazy good deal on an amazing Frog! As a P12 owner myself, I can say these guitars are the real deal. They have this magical tone that is so hard to find elsewhere. Someone is going to be crazy happy!!!!!!!

I don't think I've ever wished I lived in Southern California before.

Interested in your P12. I’m new to the forum and not sure how this works, so if you would, please contact me so we can arrange a meeting. I live in Temecula.

I can't believe this guitar is still here.

If I didn't already own a Froggy Bottom with the same woods, I'd be driving across the heat of the desert from Tucson to SOCAL with cash in my pocket.

Everyone wants a bargain, but they seem to freeze when it's placed under their nose. Sniff hard.
