Default It's hard to imagine a worse ad for a vintage guitar.

Be sure to read the description from the seller. I'll bet people are knocking her door down to buy this one. In her favor the price is pretty good.

I don’t see the problem. She’s being honest and doesn’t know much about guitars.

Yeah I've seen much worse ads than that. At least she's being honest. That alone is a step above many sellers/Reverb ads out there.

I think it's a great, honest ad by someone who doesn't want to misrepresent what she is selling. Kudos to her!

Agreed, and great pictures to boot and she is willing to drive to meet somebody to make a sale. She's also selling a 1946 Gibson L-5 with similar honest description and photos. I may be naive but she sounds like a sweet woman.

I have to note that this pic:

Made me wonder if the guitar's former owners included this guy:

I agree. I don't see anything wrong with the ad.

Agreed. and btw - the image of a worn fretboard above doesn't seem to be from the pictures of this lady's guitar ad.
I hope that she gets a fair price for it.

This could be a nice guitar. It was bought by a touring musician, obviously played a lot, of a vintage that was more reliably good than six or seven years later, priced well, and in decent condition. Worth considering.

Picture #7.

Nothing wrong with the ad. Honest and humorous.
