Default My take on the Martin HD-28 (2018)

The NEW Martin HD-28 (2018) combines pre-war looks and forward-shifted bracing with the High Performance neck.

Since the mid-1990s people have said Martin's Standard Series guitars should have the looks and sound of the Vintage Series guitars, especially those who kept saying, "I'd buy one if it didn't have the V neck." Well that is pretty much what has finally happened. So here ya go, Ladies and Gentlemen get your wallets ready!

The written review will follow in time, I am putting out the videos first this year, at least for Winter NAMM.

Nice playing, and it gave me a good sense of what that guitar will sound like. Thank you.

Default So what we've got is basically an HD28V

So for those who like the tone of the non-forward shifted bracing , the Grover tuners, the white face, and standard dots, it's better to clamp down now on old stock or buy used. But the mids in that thing SING!

GREAT demo, thank you!

Modified oval profile, 1&3/4 nut -man, I cannot wait to try one! At the right price ($3029 now at Sweetwater), this is going to be one very popular model. Wish they had done this years ago. Thanks for the heads up!

Yep...that’s a very sweet guitar! I just bought a bling out version. It’s called a D-41.

My strong recommendation is that you not pay anywhere near that price above, and instead give a few of our AGF dealer sponsors a call for a much better deal.
