For the less than novice player?
I used a question mark because my skill level at paying is near zero.
As some are aware, I'm about to be the proud owner of a Gretsch 5420- I'd like to do it a small amount of justice before I leave the building- What recommendations do any of you have for publications that will help someone as inexperienced as I in learning the Rock-A-Billy style playing- I just posted this in another thread- his playing, is to me, a pinnacle of that style. |

Guess I'll reply to myself-
You tube- though I'm not a fan of lessons in that format (or zoom or skype, etc) it is free- From the first lesson I've learned- I have a long way to go |

If you love Chuck there's a good movie called "Hail! Hail! Rock 'n' Roll"
I recommend. |

Arlen Roth is your man. Search for his books and video lessons online. He’s also a great teacher and a cool guy. Here’s a link to get you started.
