Default Can someone tell me what this guitar is?

Picture is in next post

I'm wondering what kind of guitar that guy is playing? My Dad saw this band and told me the guy said it was a "52 Gibson but it looks like a Fender Telecaster. Either way I'm curious about the year and model. Thanks!

Fender Telecaster or Telecaster type guitar. (Not a Gibson).

As mentioned, it's a "T Style" guitar, whether a Fender/Squier Telecaster or another brand that is mimicking a Telecaster. It isn't a Gibson. You're dad is just pulling your leg (or you're pulling ours).

thanks everyone! I'm thinking that guy was talking to my Dad about a different guitar (whether it was actually there, not sure) because they were talking about his '55 Gibson for awhile but everyone was drinking so who knows!

Here's the whole picture. Looking at this picture you can see that the red one is a Fender but I wonder if the big guys is a g&l...I can't tell from the headstock.

Neither one is a fender or G&L. Forget the decals, the shape isnt quite right for either.
