Default Play Acoustic Body Rez Advanced settings

I'd like to hear from other users of the Play Acoustic, specifically the guitar Body Rez Advanced settings. Hope you can share what parameter settings [ EQ, Shelf EQ, Parametric EQ, Compressor] you find sound good. I just use the Basic preset / default now, but would like real user input.

Thanks

There are so many factors at play that it is almost impossible to say that what works well for one particular guitar with a certain pickup will sound good for another. Also, people have different interpretaions of what constitutes a "good" sound, so again it isn't really replicable.

My advice would be to dive in, play around and see what works for you.

I zeroed out the Body Rez settings on the Play Acoustic and got a Tonedexter for the guitar. Way, way better. I just use the PA for voice effects only.

Where in the signal chain do you place the Tonedexter.

thread revival!

I am trying to get rid of low end boominess from my J45 going thru the Play Acoustic. I am a little intimidated by the Advanced setting and parametric EQ. Can anyone offer some direction on how to get rid of low end boominess?

JackB,
Under “set up”, screen 5 is guitar anti-feedback. Turn up the low cut. I think it defaults at 60. Just in case you switch guitars, this is not a preset. It is a global setting meaning it works the same for all presets.

Start around 100 and work in that area first.

Will do. Hope that works. I don't want to start messing with those Parametric EQ settings
