Default Woody Mann's "And 3 Not 4" by Teja Gerken

I was very saddened to hear of Woody Mann's passing last week. I first met Woody when I interviewed him for Acoustic Guitar magazine back in 1998, and following that, our paths crossed frequently, though I'd lost touch in the last several years. I hadn't played his tune "And 3 Not 4" for a long time, but I decided to dig it back up and shoot a quick "warts and all" video in tribute to Woody, who will be missed by many. Here we go:

Played on my 2004 Custom Shop Martin OM in standard tuning.

That's excellent and a superb sound. I met Woody at a workshop back in the 90's. He was Indeed a lovely guy.

Oh No! His style of blues-infused acoustic guitar playing got to me every time I heard it.
Listening to "Heading Uptown" from Get Together right now - heavily swinging!
Very nice performance in his spirit, thank you Teja!

Default Woody Mann

Thanks for posting the notice on the death of Woody Mann. It was a shock to hear of his death. I loved his playing and thought he was an excellent teacher of the guitar.
