Default Custom Bil Mitchell Maple OM

SOLD

I have a custom Sunburst Maple OM from luthier Bil Mitchell. He's a luthier that's local to me here in eastern PA. Bil's been making
guitars since the 70"s and builds fantastic guitars. You can find a few posts about him here on the forum if you do a search.
This guitar is a deluxe model and originally would have been in the $5000 range. It has some pick wear on the top and is a good player condition guitar. Which let me acquire it at a good price.
Action on the neck is good. Plays great and sounds fantastic
Unfortunately for me, I have some neck and shoulder issues that make playing even an OM-size guitar difficult. So, reluctantly I'm putting it up for sale. I would possibly be open to a trade for a 00-size guitar of equal quality.

Sunburst top, body and neck
Adirondack top
Flamed Maple back and sides
Flamed Maple 5 piece neck
Ebony fingerboard and bridge
Ivroid binding
1 11/16 bone nut
25.5 scale length
K&K mini pick up (really sounds great)
5 latch TKL hard case

Let me know if you have any questions
$1600 plus shipping

I knew Bil when he lived in NJ and he did some work on my guitars. He built a beautiful OM for a friend of mine. He is a fine craftsman. Good luck with sale.

Thanks Joe,
A friend of mine has several of Bil's guitars, electric and acoustic. They are really top-notch. That's how I found out about him. I wish I could find someone with one of his 00's that would trade with me.

{sigh} If this one had wider string spacing, I'd be all over it! GLWS!

Someone will be very pleased when they buy this one as Bil Mitchell is an excellent luthier. Also, a great guitar repair person. Trivia...Bil was Leon Redbone’s main go to guy whenever he needed some work done on his Gibson or any others.
