If I didn’t already have not 1, but 2 514s from the 90s I would have already bought this.

I have five Taylors from the 90s. Truly Taylor’s Golden Era.

Everyone knows Paul is an AGF’er extraordinaire. There is no one better to deal
with.

You simply cannot go wrong in buying this baby.

Smile To the top...

Thanks for the kind words RC!!! You are a pleasure to deal with as well as a lovely gentleman yourself.

Made the mistake of playing this for a long time yesterday. It is a KILLER AXE.

Not going to Reverb yet, this really should go to an AGFer!

And, If it does not sell I will be happy to have it in the arsenal. It is just out-gunned by my 4 JKs!!!

I will have a couple more cool guitars up FS pretty quick, I hope. Depends on how long Luthiers take to dial them in!

Cheers

Paul

I played this beautiful Taylor this afternoon- it's a great guitar! It's very lightweight and wonderful to play. It's beautiful and perfectly set up (as all of Paul's guitars are). I was really impressed by the tone- warm and round. That Cedar top is nice! This is an excellent guitar at a really good price.

GLWS Paul!

Smile Thanks Beth!!!

Thanks Beth. I know you liked it, as you were beaming when you played it.

Beth emailed me this just now:

" I was thinking about the 514c…. It’s by far the lightest built Taylor I’ve ever played. It really is such a different beast than the ones they build now. I hope someone realizes how special it is!"

Just ask Rob C! He has two... best to have a backup! Haha

Cheers

Paul

I had one of these a few years back. It was one of the most responsive Taylors I’ve owned. I’m sure this one plays even better having receive some TLC (Tim luranc Care). Paul being one of the nicest AGFers you’ll ever come across is just icing on the cake.

Smile Bump for a GOLDEN AGE Taylor

Tim Luranc calls this "A fine example of an ICONIC GOLDEN AGE Taylor."

And he should know for sure, as he has worked for Taylor since day one!

Cheers

Paul

Smile Second thoughts...

I am having second thoughts about selling this, so if you're interested rattle my cage soon.

Having sold a couple of 12 strings, my bank account is somewhat replenished !

But really, a Guitar of this caliber should be getting played a lot more than I play it.

As I have mentioned before, it is simply outgunned by my John Kinnaird customs. ( which certainly cost a heck of a lot more money! But well worth it!!!)

Absolutely perfect structurally and perfect play ability! Someone will love this baby…

Cheers

Paul

Default Just sayin

This is a really nice guitar. I have actually played this one and can attest to the perfection of the set up and the warm sweetness of the sound it makes. It is big enough to fill an average room acoustically and light enough to be comfortable while playing. It’s also really pretty! I liked it so much that I bought one before this one was for sale.

Smile Still here...

Not bumping this so often.

If the others go this one may get pulled.... mighty nice player here!

Tim Luranc is preparing to retire after working for Taylor since day one. Actually before day one, as he worked at American Dream before Bob and Kurt bought the shop!

His setups are perfect!

Some mojo here, folks...

A fun Sunday to all!

Paul

Smile Still FS, or TRADES?

Any interesting trade ideas?

Yours Must be equally dialed and playable! Hope to avoid another Luthier visit...

Prefer a bit of cash my way, but wouldn't we all? Hah

Cheers

Paul
