Sorry to read your buddy Dusty has passed.
I know when I had to deal with my buddy Rocky’s passing, it was extremely hard for me.
Just remember the good times you had and know there’s no pain or suffering for him now.

Thanks, my little buddy had liver cancer and it was one of the hardest decisions to have the vet send him on. It is rough, but like you said, remembering all the years of love and companionship he gave me I will always have.

Ouch, sorry to hear.

We've lost our share of pups. Some of them took a long time to be ok with

They all hold a special quiet place in our hearts don't they.

Peace to you and your lost friend.

As a life long dog lover/ owner(?), I feel your pain, part of your family is gone.
It’s a deep wound that’s slow to heal, but heal it will.
Best Wishes.

So sorry about your pup. It’s such a tough thing to go through.

Losing a pet is very heart breaking, they are just as much a family member as anyone. I'm very sorry for your loss and understand your feelings first hand. They make are live's so much better with their unconditional love and companionship.

There is great wisdom in that thought. I have certainly shed way more tears over departed cats and dogs than for most people.

You wrote a very moving essay that nearly brought me to tears. Good job, and sorry that you are [temporarily] parted from you furry friend. Condolences is such an inadequate word.

They become family, don't they?

I don’t come to the AGF very often these days but I am glad I saw your post. You have my condolences on the passing of Dusty and my gratitude for your poem.
