i don't think it is possible with a standard media player such as windows media player.

something like audacity can reverse audio under the effect->reverse function.

i'd guess pretty much any audio editing program would be able to reverse audio.

Import it into a DAW and you can do it. The question is, why would you want to?

Been searching for hidden for the "Walrus is Dead" messages in the Beatles songs for 40 years.

Not me; I'd rather spend the time cleaning the lint out of my dryer filter.

In my DAW, Ardour, you can just select a region and click a "reverse" command. It's definitely worth experimenting with. I sometimes pick out short sections and mix them in to create textures. You can get some interesting sounds, a bit like using a volume pedal.

Oh, I'm most assuredly THAT old! I just wouldn't fall for it, though. I knew it was a clever rouse to encourage me to spend my time looking for Walrus clues instead of honing my guitar-playing skills to be able to knock them out of their top-seat positioning on the world stage.

I'm still working on it...

Thanks, moon...
Interesting moody song by Martyn. Almost a floating effect in a way.

It's a country song. He wants to get his girl back, his truck back, his dog back, and wake up sober.
