Curtain rods for go-bars?
I was reading a thread on a car forum where the guy was welding in a panel to “undo” the sunroof. He was using what looked like go-bars to hold the panel in place and I thought - wow that’s cool, another use for go-bars! Then I realized that they weren’t go-bars, they were curtain rods. The cool thing is that the length and tension can be adjusted.
I wonder if anyone has ever used curtain rods for go-bars in Guitar construction.

They are possibly to thick for most decks as most decks are under a metre (3ftish) in internal height.
Camping tent rods are really good. Steve

The bestest and cheapest go-bars are made from Fiberglas rods you buy from the local Homeless Despot; they are 48" and sometimes longer, sold as curb markers for snow plows.
Peel off the reflector tape from the top and cut them to the length you need. Cheap as chips--and the same stuff LMI and others sell for five times the cost.
