Well yeah, my Leafs lost again. You'd think I'd learn
Nothing against you Bruin's fans, but I'm glad they lost, well, not the team per se, but Brad Marchand, can't stand the guy and his antics and dirty play.( And I'm a Canadian).

Kings lose. Leafs again.
Back to the drawing board. Leafs need to figure what's wrong. Kings have no power play. Kings have a good minors system. May need to trade for more veterans. Congratulations to the Oilers. Tampa Bay championship experience showing. |

McDavid is showing why he's the best in the league. Rooting for McDavid/Oilers and Crosby/Pens the rest of the way. Not even sure if Crosby is going to play Game 7 tonight.

If the Avs aren't too rusty from their long rest, they'll be tough to beat, imo.

Well, As a Bruins fan I can understand that. There was a survey for fun among the players in the league. "Who do you hate the most?" Marchand won that one. " Who would you like on your team?" Brad Marchand was the winning answer. He pulls his stuff when he is frustrated but everyone knows the kid is good. As he likes to say, "It's just hockey. Things happen." When asked about Bergeron possibly retiring he welled up with tears. The guy cares. On the ice that can lead to a stupid penalty when he is frustrated. His coach has said time and time again "March, stop doing that." He can't help it completely. He has gotten better at it. You gotta like his guts on the ice. It's a part of him. PS. Sorry about Toronto. Looks good on paper but they need a tiger in their tank across the board. Perhaps Marchand could give some lessons over the summer. Peace.

Calgary beats Dallas to set up the “Battle of Alberta” with Edmonton which regardless of the future outcome of the playoffs, for most Canadians, this should be as good as any Stanley Cup final! I LOVE it!

That said, trust me when I say, he p*sses a lot of us off too. He just can't help himself sometimes and it drives me nuts. He'd been doing good up until he started losing his mind in the second half of this season. For the good he does the team, it's really a shame there's this other side of the guy that you just want to slap.

I know how disappointed a lot of you Pens fans are. The difference between teams in that first round was so razor thin and the Pens gave themselves a huge edge by taking the Garden crowd out of it for most of the third period. Shesterkin likes to own the front of the net and the Pens' strategy of keeping him from fighting through the traffic in front was really effective throughout the whole series. I think they started eyeing the clock and gave the Rangers a chance to get back in it.

As a Pens fan I'm disappointed. Being unable to score on a 5 on 3 power play however is inexcusable.
What's sad is that this could be the end of the Pens under Crosby, Malkin and LeTang. I'm still trying to muster up hope for the next generation of the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Neil - Is there any buzz about what Pens are planning for Malkin and Letang. Both will be 36 and count for $17M. I believe Rust may also be free this year. May be time for the rebuild, despite still being a very good team.

The situation regarding pending free agents Malkin, Letang and Rust is complicated by the fact that a new owner (The Fenway Group) bought the franchise just a few months ago. No one seems to know how they feel about those players. Significantly, David Moorehouse, the Pens CEO for the past 16 years resigned at the end of the regular season, and some have speculated that The Fenway Group may be planning a lot more changes in management as well as on the ice. Stay tuned...
