Default Ronnie Wood - Somebody Up There Likes Me

Watched this a few days ago. Have always enjoyed Wood's playing, first in the Jeff Beck Group, then in the Faces with Rod Stewart, and as a Rolling Stone. I saw the Faces August 6, 1970 at the Capitol Theater, in Springfield, Mass with my friends - all huge fans - on their first US tour. It was a small venue and we were right in front. The line up was Rod Stewart - vocals, Ron Wood - guitar, Ian McLagan - keyboards, Ronnie Lane - bass, and Kenny Jones - drums, all great musicians, and having a huge amount of fun. The next time was in a huge arena in Chicago. Another great performance, but nowhere near as intimate and personal a setting.

The movie is very well done, artistic, with some very cool vintage footage, stories, and playing. In one scene he's playing slide on a bakelite "Panda" Rickenbacher Lap Steel.

Here's a link to the trailer and how to stream it.

What's something like that cost? I tried to follow the link to find out, but there's no information on the price because this particular item isn't available where I am. I'm wondering because I've never streamed anything.

Thanks seannx. One more question if you don't mind the hijack: You can't record and save a copy, can you? I mean normally, without any kind of trickery or special effort.

I'm not sure. It's going to be available on Blue Ray or DVD for purchase in the future.

Thanks for the replies, seannx.

That must have been one hell of a show you saw in 1970!
