Place a 75 yard deep bunker across every fairway, say 300 yards out.
And, make the hole a little smaller.

I’m 64 (almost) and a recreational golfer. I’ve been as low as a 12 and now play to 18 (yeah, not all that great). But with titanium drivers, graphite shafts and the new balls, I’m hitting drives farther than I did when I was in my 20’s (persimmon woods, steel shafts and rock hard balls).
More than happy to take the distance. But I’m not playing 7,600 yard US Open courses either. Thank Heaven!

Looking forward to the Masters, which might be like none other. Bryson is going to add on another 15 pounds and 3 inches to his driver. That's a good strategy, as there's really NO rough at the Masters.
Me thinks others will be bombing along with him. This will seriously piss off the gentlemen of Augusta. They must be really grinding on how to combat this "new golf." scott |
