Default Electric Guitar Making Workshop

I work in the Entrepreneurship Center at Mississippi State University. About a year and a half ago we decided to open a public Maker Space on Main Street so folks could come in and have access to 3-D printers, woodworking tools, CNC machines, etc.

Last night we started a new workshop; nine high school guitar players were selected to come in an make their very on Les Paul style guitars from Stew Mac kits. The Gibson Foundation provided us with a little swag and the project culminates with a public outdoors concert featuring a backing band of local "pros."

Here's a link to some of the pics from our first night....
