How long have we been doing Custom Shop?
I just wanted to check on this because I've been curious about how long AGF members have been doing new custom builds and documenting the process here on the forum. My last real custom build with Marc Beneteau was back in 2008-2009, a Concert Standard with really nice old growth sitka top with maple b/s. Yet I probably was not aware of being able to document the process and do not recall ever getting any pictures of the build progress. I did two other custom builds with Marc Beneteau before that one and since have not done a custom build although my guitar purchases/trades/sales have been numerous.

The first custom shop threads that I could find started late 2009/early 2010. Before they opened it up most guys posted in the general section.

Although I apparently posted in the Custom Shop earlier, I first started threads here in late 2010. Before becoming developing a presence here, however, I was very active for several years on a Forum called 13thfret.com. It still exists, but is slow to the point of being in a coma.

Bruce, I think Mary introduced you to the AGF while we were exhibiting at a very early Montreal Guitar Show. Do you remember that conversation? I can’t recall the year though.
