Default Flush-cut Fret End Nipper Pliers

Howdy, Looking for Flush-cut Fret End Nipper Pliers, stewmac site says in stock but when tried to order, stated backorder.

Where else and or brand should I look ?

Standard fret wire, not stainless.

I suggest OP look into other vendors. There's a bunch of them. And study up on what's unique about such pliers, and alternative techniques to achieve the same end.

Ditto this.

Here's a photo I posted at another forum site when the question about end nippers was posed. The top right portion of the photo shows frets being trimmed with a cut off wheel in a Dremel tool.

I have the ones from LMI that say they work on Stainless. Hosco brand I think. They are really nice.

Were you not worried about the dremel cutting wheel generating too much heat?

I've played and studied traditional noter/drone mountain dulcimer for many years. And I used to play dobro in a bluegrass band.

Fretting for me is a two step process. I always remove a short portion of the tang do the fret slot can be filled after finishing fret ends. Since the tang has already been removed only the crown is being trimmed, and that takes less than a second. No appreciable amount of heat is built up in that time.

My tang removal grinder has been posted previously.
