I haven’t commented in years but this build speaks to me. I adore that quilt. I hope it sounds a 10th as beautiful as it looks.

Thanks islandguitar! You haven’t seen other builders do something like this because, well, other builders are just smarter then me! I just don’t know no better and usually say yes, and then later try to figure out what I said yes to!

Flabbergastingly beautiful I bet.
A looker ! Kudos Mark, yet another unique Hatcher !
Thanks Lonzo, I never forget how lucky I am to be able to work with such special woods like The Tree.

Thanks, Spartan is a good look too. I guess I’m a bit fickle, cause I like them all!

Thanks for commenting Ty, that figure in the Tree Mahogany is mesmerizing. I usually keep it out of sight so I can get work done!

Amazing guitar Mark, this has to rank near the top of all your beautiful builds and that is a tough list to crack.

Welcome to the forum Delfiente, I see you just signed up last month and you are already losing a kidney? Uh oh, looks you’re going to be in trouble looking at the builds people put up here! 🙂

Thanks!

That's a gorgeous guitar, Mark--that naptha really shows how incredible this will look under finish! It brought out so much figure with lots of imaginary characters popping out!

Thanks Lonzo! It is a fun guitar to photograph. I just got a new laptop with an incredibly bright screen. I need to spend some time to adjust that so my pictures aren’t so dark. It’s amazing how different images can look from screen to screen.

Default First Gloss Coat on

Here is an update on the Greta "Tree": We have the first gloss coat on and I've got pictures to prove it!

It will be a couple more weeks but I'm very happy to watch that figure come alive!

Good god that wood is amazing! One of the best examples I've seen.

Going to be quite a nice package there!
