Here is my vintage Martin 0-17 from 1934. Lately I changed pickups and used it in a pickup comparison, so here is the video:

Second pic is Taylor GS-mini after I removed pickguard, great tone that exceeds what should come out that small body.
That GS Mini has a gorgeous top!

Beautiful guitar tops!

Hey, "JohnFrink1"... Do you have a pic of that 2017 Collings OM1Mh from the front or maybe a close-up? I like that... gorgeous!

Goodall all-Mahogany Traditional Dreadnought. Straight-grained front and Quilted back. It's not really so "reddish" in person, but photography in sunlight is a challenge for an amateur.

I was hoping someone would post a pic of a Waterloo WL-12Mh since I can't. Great little guitar!

Wonderful! I can’t post pics, but I have a 1942 0-15 which I absolutely love.

But I also have one of the very first mahogany-topped Spanish guitar made for steel strings - a Martin 2-17. That is the first model they made only available with steel strings; it was based on the Hawaiian craze and the volume of inexpensive mahogany-topped ukes they were selling. I have one from 1930 and absolutely love it.

Here is a website with info and pics of them: http://217.dougschmude.net/index.html

Great looking 00-17 Authentic! I've always wondered how a 17 series looks like...now I know...and it's a lefty, 12-fret, slotted headstock with longer saddle.

This morning's hog top photo from the Outer Hebrides. I went and sat on the beach in the sunshine to practice.
