A smartly written and superbly acted series. Another to try, for those that haven't is The Kominsky Method with Michael Douglas and Alan Arkin.

Signed up for Disney + for a bit. Watched "Togo" last night. Very good film with Wilem Dafoe and Julianne Nicholson about the Nome 1925 diphtheria epidemic and the dogsled relay that got the anti-serum there from Fairbanks (and was the inspiration of the Ididerod dogsled race). Very moving. Great acting. A bit of unrealistic action, but WTH, you gotta sell tickets!

For decades a different lead dog (Balto) got all the glory because he was lead dog for the last 50 mile leg. Togo and his sled did 260!

The worst thing on tv is .... no Formula 1! yah boo sucks!

There was a good hour long documrntary on Eel Pie Island which is where I saw the Rolling Stones, Cyril Davies (once) Jeff Beck, Artwoods, Downliner's Sect, Yardbirds, Rod (the mod) Stewart etc, in the early '60s. They interviewed lots of folk that I knew.

It's a great show, Tom. I'm all caught up on the Netflix viewings ... just need to wait for the next season (whenever that will be).

We watched “A Beautiful Day” last night...I would have like at at any time, but found it to be a perfect balm for some of the upsets of recent days.

We have also started watching “Catastrophe” in the last week or so, and have enjoyed it a lot.

We have already watched many of the (comedy) series mentioned here: Mrs. Maisel, Frankie and Grace, Better Call Saul (lost interest in this after a while... think we finished the first season).

No one has mentioned “Fleabag”; one of the most interesting and best done series I’ve seen in a while, though (like many series) you have to give it 4 or 5 episodes before it really hits stride.

My wife is a total sports junkie. She loves her Eagles, Phillies, Sixer’s and Flyers.

We all know how that’s going....

So, after years of talking to her about it, she’s watching The Americans on Prime. I watched it live when it was on but going through it again. Excellent show.

I am anxious to get on the tiger show. So many people are talking about it. But we have to get through the rest of the 80’s first!

The new BCS season is on now: AMC, Monday nights. Maybe your provider or the AMC app will let you catch up on episodes, so far.

As of today Gunsmoke started over from season 1, episode 1 on
metv... the old episodes are 1/2 hour long, so you get two episodes
a day...

I'm watching The Tudors and to a lesser extent Versailles on Netflix.

Thanks for the info. I dropped cable a couple of years ago but I'll have a look to see if AMC has a streaming service.

My 8 year-old has fallen hard for The Three Stooges, it's nice to see him rooted in the classics! So they are on a lot.

We are working through the Marvel movies because the kids haven't seen them and I am watching BCS, but I have backed up 3 episodes so I can binge watch, I hate waiting week to week!

I have not watched anything as entertainment for about a month. Yesterday I watched Shawshank Redemption and now I'm working on Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy on Netflix.

I did check out what Bill Gates had to say about the state of the world on TED. Very interesting.

We just started watching Westworld yesterday, thanks to it being available on the free Apple TV subscription I got with a new iPhone recently.

I think we'll stick with it, despite the gratuitous bits. The overall plot line is way too intriguing to let the fact that the scriptwriters apparently ran out of adjectives get in the way.
