Seeking volume pedal recommendations
I’m looking to get a volume pedal for my board.
My guitars have K&K pickups The pedal will be placed after the pre-amp but before reverb / delays / loopers Should I get active or passive? High or low impedance? Ideally, it would be no more than 8” long to fit on my modest sized board. I like the look of the boss fv30h / fv30L - not too big, not too small - would one of these work?

For almost 20 years I used a Boss GE7 for boosting leads and really liked having the opportunity to bring down the lows a bit when soloing. Especially with a K&K this can be a great feature. My bandmates still use it. I now use the built in boost in the preamp.

Thanks for the feedback. I’m really looking for a volume pedal rather than a boost / GE.

take a look at the Dunlop Mini volume pedal. I use one on a small board for my electrics. They very nice, they come with a tool to tighten the pedal friction so it becomes very easy to move the pedal to a set point and leave it there. Built like a brick house too.

Another recommendation for the Dunlop Volume(X) Mini. Works well and is compact.
