Default PSA - Jason Kostal is OK

Hi guys,

Just wanted to let you know that I've been in touch with Jason following his car accident and he asked that I thank you all for your concern and update you all on the latest.

He has sustained some broken bones and ligament damage but it's fair to say that there are few people out there tougher than Jason.

In his own words:

"I am going for an mri in about 20 min and then off for the first surgery. i will write when i get conscious again i wont be able to walk for a while but should be back in the shop in a few days. not too big of a deal."

I'm sure you'll join me in wishing Jason a speedy recovery.

Terrible news, though sounds like it could have been a lot worse. I'm sure he will be in all our thoughts and prayers for a speedy recovery. Kind of puts things in perspective, thanks for posting.

Thanks for the update, Michael. Sounds as if we almost lost a great one. Glad to hear he expects a full recovery (although it sounds a bit worse than "no big deal").

What a shock. This is the first I've heard of this, but THANK YOU, Michael, for letting us know that Jason is okay.
I think it's true that all of us who know Jason think the world of him. And that we all wish him a speedy and complete recovery. Hopefully this will prove to be only a minor setback for Jason, in the broad perspective.
Thanks again, Michael, and keep us posted if you hear more news...

I saw the photo of the post-accident/pre-surgey on FB last night.

Jason is a tough guy.

What I wanted to see was a picture of the bus on it's FB page...but it was probably too embarrassed.

Knowing what I know about healthcare in the USA, he is going to need to up his base price to about 25K to take care of that....and that's just the MRI!

Thanks for the "horses mouth" update Michael; much appreciated.

Cheers,
Steve

Jason's survived a whole host of crazy stuff and is probably the biggest badass I've ever met. I'm sure he'll be back in the shop in no time
