Default Custom inlay recommendation

My wife and I had our baby daughter on May 7th. I am looking to see if I can get a recommendation of someone who does custom inlay work on a fretboard. I am not looking for anything intricate or fancy. I just want her name on the fretboard on an upcoming guitar purchase. I don't know if any of our sponsors do inlay or if someone here has used an artist and was pleased with the outcome.

If you only want her name inlaid, I guess I could do it. Your choice of courier or lucida console font.

Otherwise Harvey Leach does beautiful work.

Congrats on the baby girl, and welcome to a whole world of new fun! The inlay sounds like a really neat tribute, best of luck!

When my son was born, we had professional photos taken of him on my favorite guitar. They turned out great, and when he's older, I'll give him the guitar. We had one blow-out incident during the photo shoot, but luckily it occurred on my wife's lap, and not on my guitar!

I've actually inlaid a baby for a great customer of mine. Here are a few things I've done lately with shell and engraving.

Stunning work Kevin. I couldn't imagine the time and meticulousness that art must take. True talent and hard work.

I never imagined all of the artists out there could physically do this to a guitar. If I keep looking I'll be doing much more than her name. Lol. I appreciate the feedback and I am saving money to get the guitar. My idea is to buy a birth year guitar and if she decides to follow in guitar learning it will be hers.

Inlay of a name isn't that difficult, even an amateur like me can do it.

I don't do commissions anymore, and any one of the pros already mentioned can do a much better job anyway.

Some great suggestions already. Another satisfied customer of Jimmi Wingert's.

Best,

Can't go wrong with any of the suggestions so far but I'd be happy to do something for you!

You can sample my work and get an idea of pricing on the Harvey Leach Inlays site listed below.

I saw Mark Ketts work on a Linda Manser guitar and it was very nice.
