I have been interested in trying an X brace on the lower tone bar. Just wondering what you feel it does to your sound as compared to the regular Martin pattern?

Well, I think that the sound of an instrument won't just come from the bracing, but how you'll work with it.

Just thought you might have a few words on how it adds to your guitars. Of course a guitar is the sum of all the parts. Thought there might be a reason why you chose to use it.
