A very classy build, and I agree with all the comments on the rosette, really pretty!

That wood looks unbelievable.

I thought I was Jason's best mate but looks like you got first choice from the secret stash.

Very jealous!

The last OM I played from Jason, built for a frient of mine, was the best of his I'd played. Not much between it and mine, but just enough to show that he is still developing as a luthier.

Cheers,
Steve

Wow, that top is flawless...I love the creaminess of good German Spruce. As for the Braz, what's there really to say...the quality of that set is a rarity indeed. The highly figured stuff can be stunning, but I'll take a dark straight-grained set like that every time!

Steve, I was lucky that this set of Braz wasn't snatched up since my first Kostal. It was my second runner up over too many sets

What a beautiful set of BRW (kudos). With only 3-weeks to the show, I suspect the nitro finish will still be seriously outgassing at Woodstock.... is Jason planning on showing this guitar at the show?

The guitar has actually been at the finishers for a while. I'm just a little slow updating this thread with pics!

Eric, please buddy, some pics!
You're killing me here!

Can't wait any longer! Three weeks is a long time for pacing back and forth while staring at my PC for updates!

Looking forward to see this one back from getting its shine on. I keep going back to the pictures of the rosette. That is really going to pop when all is done.

Woodstock is in two weeks and it can't come any sooner!

Earlier in this thread in the late summer, I was able to visit Jason to see his shop. I left my first Kostal guitar with him while the wife and I went to the Grand Canyon. Jason was able to bring it to a photographer he is using and here are the results

My first Kostal:
