Default Strings by Mail

I just want to give a big shout out to one of our forum sponsors, Strings By Mail!
I have been a customer of theirs for sometime now and I am continually amazed by their customer support and quick service, not to mention their great prices.

I had a special request that they did not have listed on their website. They took care of me and made it happen. This type of service it’s just incredible especially in today’s day and age.

If you are in need of strings or accessories, be it acoustic, electric or whatever, check them out... you will not be disappointed.

Strings by Mail is still listed as a community sponsor. Am I misunderstanding something?

Yep, great company. They also give a 10% discount to us vets.

Thanks for posting this as I was unaware of this benefit. As a veteran I like to support businesses that support Vets!

So where is the best place for non-Americans to buy strings? Somewhere with good prices, a great range, and fast efficient service that delivers promptly to your door? In Australia. Or the UK. Or wherever you are.

Ans: Strings by Mail. They are excellent.

I would have been using the vet thing all along if I had been aware of it. Thanks for the heads up.

Excellent service! Love the quick thank you notes. A nice reminder of humanity in a maddeningly modern, computerized world

Wish there was a mail order strings company in UK, not worth ordering from over here.

I have been buying from them for a while now and have had nothing but good experiences. I also like that they sell picks individually, where most sell packages. This way you can try out picks one at a time till you find the one you want. Why didn't anyone else think of this simple option?

Unfortunately it's not a great deal of you live in Canada, a lot cheaper just to buy Earnie Ball Earthwood in person right at a Long & McQuade in person by the time the prices are converted and shipping is added. I love browsing the site though, might use it to try some strings I can't find here.
