This made me laugh out loud.

At least we'll always have those matching prison tattoos.

The LAVA ME arrived as I was heading for the airport. Wife called and was concerned as the box was pretty wet. No concern dear, it’s not wood. Lol

Congrats on the arrival.

Perhaps it should be unpacked and wiped if needed? Metal and electrical parts don't like getting wet. (although every instrument I've unpacked has been loosely wrapped in a plastic bag).

Yes, that was my request. She's also not there right now....

Let us know how it goes. Hopefully all will be well.

The LAVA ME. Lovely wife opened it today. Box soaked, wrapping paper soaked. But, it was in a gig bag (I wasn't sure whether it would be) and it was wet, on the outside. Inside was fine she said. Phew. Said it was a very pretty guitar. I'll be back home tomorrow to do an NGD.

I know that people joke about using carbon fiber guitars as paddles but aren't you supposed to remove them from the box first???

Looking forward to your review. Am considering as a pre-emptive starter gift for family youngsters who covet my CA Cargo. Hah!
