Stunning guitar!! I'm sure it sounds wonderful.

The way the rosette and the binding bring together the rosewood and the Italian top is nothing short of spectacular.

Congratulations!

I just received my first Bourgeois guitar (00 DB signature with 1 23/32 nut). I've only played 1 3/4" nut width guitars but honestly, I don't detect a difference at all -- the Bourgeois neck profile is really comfortable to my hand. And the sound is rich and elegant. Like you -- it's the trebles that really impress.

She's a beauty. I assume it sounds just as lovely as every Bourgeois I've played.

How long did it take for the build?
The build took about 5 1/2 months. Re the spruce, my thinking was headed in the European Spruce direction anyway, so I was happy with the recommendation; and my LDBO is Adi, so a different top was interesting.

Congratulations back! They're just great guitars, the DB Signature has wonderful appointments. Yes, I think their neck profile is now my favorite. I'm so impressed with the tone(s) they achieve with small bodies.

What a special instrument! I'm sure it sounds as amazing as it looks. I share your love of Bourgeois' 1 23/32" necks, found a 14 fret LDBO AT adi/ mahogany that satisfies my small guitar flatpicking itch. Congrats and enjoy!

That's a beautiful guitar, and I really like how they did the cutout. Just enough to be useful, but doesn't overwhelm.

That's not a bad wait time. Enjoy your Bourgeois!

Kevin, This is the 2nd 12-fret cutaway I have, the first is a 12 string that's played a little less than the others and not frequently past the 12th fret. The first day with the Coupe I just ended up at the 14th fret without thinking about it and that cutaway felt like a hand-in-glove, as u said useful and it's just right to be comfortable. It's well executed.

Thumbs up

Wow! Gorgeous! Congrats!

So the top is torrefied and the b/s are non-torrefied? Is the lower bout about 15"?

Wishing you many hours of happy playing!
