Default NFL Playoffs - Divisonal Round.

NFL Divisional Round kicks off with two games on Saturday and two more on Sunday. What teams/story lines are you following this week?

I am a Ravens fan, and am really interested in the Lamar vs. Josh battle in Buffalo, even though it seems that the pundits are all choosing the other three contests as the more compelling QB battle. Brady vs Brees is a great story, but the Saints have dominated the Bucs this year. We will see if the third time is a charm. Baker and the Browns lucked up in the first quarter vs the Steelers, but lost the last three quarters. The Chiefs won't let that happen, unless they are going to relax this game and let it get away. The Rams D is good, but any QB with brand new screws in his thumb vs Aaron Rodgers is a disaster waiting to happen.

So we shall see.

I think we're going to have 4 great games.

I'd like to see the Packers win, of course, along with Cleveland, the Bills and Saints. Cleveland is a dream, I know, but what the heck.

I'm hoping to see some well played games !! I'd like to see these guys advance.. Buffalo, TB, Cleveland..though they need to keep the pedal to the metal if they start out like last week... and LA....

I hear ya, AE. Brady/Brees is the highlight of the week-end. I think the Saints take this one though.

Rooting for the Bucs, Packers, Bills, and Browns. Wow... can't believe I'm rooting for the Bills but it's a good story for them this year, as are the Browns.

The NFL has granted 2 minutes/quarter extra for commercials. I now watch these games on MUTE and only check in occasionally when the ref is explaining the penalties.

There is plenty of video to keep up with the downs/yardage/scores and it makes for a more pleasant game when one eliminates the "talking heads".

2 extra minutes per quarter? I know they want the extra revenue but it's not like the NFL isn't a money making machine. It's going to be like MLB where it's all commercials.

Rams and Packers.

Packers and Rodgers have had a great year. They are rested and favored.
The Ram defense is their strength. It can give them a chance.
But, the offense is inconsistent. Goff will start at QB. He has the most turnovers
in the NFL since 2019. Throw in cold weather, screws in his hand, and it doesn't
look good. I'm pulling for the Rams, but, there are a lot of "ifs" involved.

It's hard to believe the Rodgers only has a single Super Bowl title. Rooting for him in this game.

Default Hmmmmmm.....

Will the Rams play with the real offense, or use only the defense? Will Mr Rodgers be in Jeopardy?

No, I still don't like them - a carryover from when they were in the Packers division back when Favre was quarterback.

I think sports media personalities overreact to nearly everything. The Ravens win one playoff game, scoring 20 points against a fairly bad defense and all of a sudden the narrative changes on Jackson, going from Lamar’s talents can’t win a playoff game to him now being the best playoff QB ever because of his unique skills. I like the guy but the Ravens lose to the Bills.

Same with the Bucs. They beat a bad Washington team I round one and made it a game. That’s all they’ll do in these playoffs. They lose by 10+ to the Saints.

The Rams bring fanboy Collin Cowherd back down to earth, losing to the Packers by 7+.

Chiefs will let the Browns flirt with the idea of winning in the first half before busting out and winning by 14.
