below is the video that caught my attention originally, but i think i've watched 6 already. Really enjoy his presentation and he seems to have a really good way of explaining things.

Thanks for those links. I watched the Five Common Practice Mistakes one
and found some helpful stuff there, esp about nine minutes in. I really
like to hear about just how other players practice. Will be watching
more of Acker's videos..

I haven't seen his practical tip videos but I've watched a few of his others talking about old string instruments that were very interesting. He did a great video on the history of the guitar, on another YouTube channel that is worth a watch as well:

Brandon is really creating great content. He is one of the few people who I give money to on Patreon. His interest in early music and early stringed instruments is unmatched. He does some really great videos showing the history of lutes, theorbos, baroque guitars, etc. On top of that he is a very high level classical guitarist.

He doesnt have one of those channels that gets posted to daily, but its because a lot of his videos clearly take a lot of work and research which I appreciate

Best to practice a newish piece at various tempos. You can ingrain bad habits by playing really slow and then have to unlearn them when more at tempo.
Same idea if you only practice a new piece at a fast tempo and get sloppy and inaccurate.

He's not bad... Me I usually go to Bradford Werner or Allen Mathews YouTube channels.

I sometimes skype with my old instructor when I need help and suggestion.
