"Reflections on the Day": Original
Hi folks!! And a happy Labor Day to all!
I'll bet many are "reflecting on the day" this holiday as we pause and take stock of the transition to another season. Thought this one from the archives might be a good one to share. Best wishes to all! Fred

Excellent, Fred! Very "reflective!" It's good to hear the "African Queen" in action again!

Very nice, Fred. Lovely, clear tone from that guitar and your fingers.
I could be wrong, but I think I am hearing mixed time signatures running through your piece. Most of it is in 3/4 time, but the little intros to the 3/4 sections, I think, are in 2/4 time, combined with little ritards. Stuff like this can feel so natural when it just flows from our minds into the guitar and our fingers. I imagine that is how this piece came about. It's when we try to write this stuff down that it seems to get complicated. Lovely piece, Fred. I really like this! - Glenn

Hi Fred,
That was a beautiful listen. Pristinely sounding and nicely played. Just finally sitting on my porch today after a busier than planned Labor Day! Music is the best remedy to unwind. Thanks for sharing this one from your archives. Great stuff!

Great music and a great title. The complexities of tones and tempos in your music mirror the intertwining of the thought process.

The guitar is my Tony Vines Artisan.....over the years it's one that's really "liked a microphone'! Thanks again, Glenn!
