Simon Fay makes just one model only and he has perfected it.

MODEL ONE
The Model One is a modern analogue to the traditional Martin OM. I build with a strong emphasis on clarity, note separation, and balance but not at the expense of tonal complexity or warmth. The response is lively and vibrant with excellent volume and projection. The design is versatile and can accommodate a wide variety of playing styles from melodic fingerstyle to heavy strumming. Currently, it is the only model I offer.

A gorgeous Sinker redwood top
Flamed and wavy Claro walnut with sapwood
Mahogany neck
Tiled wood headstock
Alessi tuners
Double sides
Depth 3.5-4.5”
Width 15.2”
Ameritage case

Offering at a very reasonably low price of $5950 for this rarely offered Simon Fay which would be priced at $10,500 today.

Very nice guitar Alan. You shouldn't post guitars like this. You know how I feel about Simon Fey guitars. You might be getting a call from your friendly neighborhood guitar addict.

For any body that might take this the wrong way, Alan is a good friend of mine and we both live in the 808. Plus I do like Simon's guitars and this one is great.

Who knows, it could soon be mine.

Had the privilege to sample some of Alan’s stash. Quite the collection I must say. With 3 om’s to my name (actually 4 since one I keep at my mom’s) I can only drool from the sidelines. Whoever gets this special Simon Fay will not be disappointed, super comfortable with a very rich tone. All of his guitars are like new condition in his wonderful air-conditioned condo. More fun than all of our local guitar shops!

Yeah, this is how I feel. Most days I think I did the right thing pursuing a science career. But then I look in this forum and see all the beautiful (in both sound and look) guitars that I can't afford, and wonder if I should have done something else with my life.
