OK I've decided to give the FX Stomp a try. I will take it slow and learn it and use it a little at a time and hopefully I won't get overwhelmed by it. The reason I choose the Stomp is because I need a good tone and effects for both my traditional acoustic guitar and also for my Fender Acoustasonic with its magnetic pickup and electric tones.
I will report back soon. Thanks to everyone for the advice.

If you want I could send you some pics of my
Presets and settings. Might give you a base to start from.pm me if you want. I use my stomp for 4 different instruments. Not so much the bass anymore. But I've been working on a tele project So it will be a whole new set of presets Once I build the tele. Last edited by varmonter; 11-01-2020 at 10:23 AM. |

Also, use the editing software on your computer/notebook. It makes it so comfortable.

sold it and bought a boss ad10.
It has everything you would ever need , and reverb is decent. Yes it has para eq for mids with Q control. And a dedicated hpf with freely selectable frequency. A marvellous anti feedback system , and tons of things that the soulmate does not have. Including an on/off switch for power and for eq. It has a phone output that can be used for in ear monitors. The preamp section is just as good as the trex. Plus, beware, there are several trex units that came out defective. You may check with trex about this just to be sure. |

I agree the Soulmate is all knob driven and the AD10 has lots and lots of hidden menus, so something to consider.

I would still recommend getting a good di pedal like Baggs venue, fishman or something else that has the basics you need with a powerful eq and good preamp. Than if needed add just a good reverb pedal. Doesn´t have to be expensive or take up a lot of space. Like a Tc mini hall of fame.
The problem with all in one pedals is that what you get is almost always a compromise in some regard. It´s easier to change just one pedal if you´re not happy with something. |
