Martin D-10e
Has anyone played or heard this new model?

Used to be the DRS-2, looks like they gave it the new name to blend it into the traditional Martin numbering system - or, now that Taylor is no longer offering their -10 dreadnaughts...

Right you are,@Steve De Rosa! Differences appear to be: a slightly nicer rosette on the new model, the addition of a tuner and a plek setup (maybe a good idea on an MIM Gibson? Although I haven't heard of any major QC problems there),modified bracing pattern (A-Frame X1 becomes 'Sitka 5/16" Non-Scalloped with 1/4" Tone Bars' in the D-10) and the substitution of a gig bag for the hard case that comes with the DRS2. Street prices at the moment are identical. Anyone have thoughts on whether these alterations would steer them one way or the other?

Actually played one at a local shop yesterday. It was very nice with some sort of pearl rosette, as well as a cool soundhole tuner. Played fantastic, looked great, and sounded very nice - just like a good Martin dread!
