8 acoustics and three electrics.
The electrics rarely get played. The acoustics are on a constant rotation and all get played regularly. |

6 acoustics (1 is for sale), 4 electrics (I'll probably be selling one of my tele's) and 2 banjos. I really have too many but I enjoy having them and playing them although I definitely have my favorites.

Quite a few. 5 acoustics, 4 electrics, a bass, a mandolin. They all get used at different times for different purposes. Some I haven't played in months, but if I need one for a particular gig or recording project, I have what I need. There are even a few styles of guitar I don't have that I wouldn't mind having on hand (e.g. 12-string, resonator, tele). So I don't think it's out of line to purchase even more guitars. :-)

I'm at seven, however, two hang on my office wall and act as functional art. I have four that hang on the wall at home and all are played weekly. I have one "traveler" and I keep it in a case ready to roll at a moments notice.

Only six for me, though if I had the extra funds....???
I play an electric and a steel string almost daily, I have a nylon string classical that gets pulled out for stretches at a time, and a hollow body that rarely gets play, but is a lot of fun when the mood strikes. Then I keep another SS acoustic at the shop so I can take a break every now and then, and lastly is my 1st electric which I don’t play anymore but has too many memories to sell.... yet. If I had to narrow down I’d want/need three guitars. One SS acoustic, 1 electric, and the classical, as there’s really not much overlap between them. Jeff |

Almost enough.
I play the one that’s closest. At times, I seek out the gut string, or the twelve, but generally, the closest. (They’re scattered around the house)

7 Acoustics
9 Electrics 8 Basses So, too many -- or not nearly enough, depending on the day.

4 acoustics, a mini-acoustic, 2 ukulele, Strat & Tele, Classical, bass…that's 9. The Olson gets played the most (I'm mainly an acoustic player and it's my main acoustic). Others get played intermittently. Electrics when I'm playing backing guitar for others, uke for fun, classical almost never (a gift from a friend a few decades back). |

I started a similar thread several years ago on another forum where there were a lot of electric players. I was surprised there was at least one member with over 100 guitars and several over 50. Sheesh, you would never get around to playing some of them.

At one time, years ago I probably had 14 or 15, with 7 of those being Taylors LOL. Plus a walnut Goodall, some electrics. Perhaps needless to say I was a frequent visitor to the former Taylor guitar forum that predated AGF. I wonder how many of the sub 1000 member number are still around.
Anyway, I'm down to 5. My wife decided some years back that my humidified room needed to become a guest bedroom, and I was downsized to a big closet.

Hi
I own 3 - my Guild Westerly acoustic and two Squiers Strat/Tele. All get played, but prob the acoustic is my favourite. None of them are worth anything so will be keepers - have owned several nice guitars; Martin, Fender and Gibson, over the years, but happy with the current collection and dont intend to add to it.
