Usually I like to play the stuff I just learned. Right now it's The Bricklayer's Beautiful Daughter by Will Ackerman.
But I generally like the fingerstyle classics (Kottke...)

Songs from others?
I love to play "Somewhere over the rainbow" based on the Tommy Emmanuel arrangement, but of course not as rich and perfect like he does it. I love the cascading harmonic and it took a while to get that done. But what a great tune. Second would be "Non Potho reposare" by Franco Morone, that is a wonderful piece.

Great song, I love his music! (think I'll re-tune and try some of his stuff tonight myself, been a long time since I did try).

What I really like to do is take a song not associated with acoustic guitar and adapt it. In that light, any song you can think of is yours for the playing.

Tequila Sunrise - Eagles
Easy front porch song to sit and strum mindlessly...

This is a very difficult topic for me to contribute to. I love so many bands and so many songs from Early Classic Acoustic Rock through today's Alternative Acoustic Rock. It is very interesting seeing what other people choose though! I love when people take a song not intended to be an Acoustic Guitar led song and convert it.
