Carvin Portable 2000-watt Line Array
... and now, Carvin enters the portable column-array (line-array) fray. Also, other column-array systems available.

Not that long ago there were news of them going under, was there something that changed that they're even having a new product line now?

Which is all well and good but I'd rather they brought back the AG300! Last edited by Chriscom; 01-30-2020 at 10:32 AM. |

The AG300 is an amp, I too, wish I had bought.

With an 18” subwoofer, no onboard mixer, and $2,249.00 price tag, this Carvin beast seems like it’s in a different category from the solo artist-friendly column units offered by Bose, Fishman, JBL, Electro-Voice, Turbosound, etc.

I’m guessing it’s a Chinese made system that’s available with other brand names on it for less. That seems to be their thing these days.

Yep.
I wouldn't trust Carvin ever again. While my AG100D and my R1000 bass rig have been pretty good, I have a friend who has had a lot of problems with later Carvin built p.a. gear, and then they shut down. Zero support. No in house service. What's the old saying? Last edited by Murphy Slaw; 02-06-2020 at 05:57 AM. |
