Default Soundboard Acoustic Amplifier-No. Really!

Perusing my local Craigslist and found this:



A quick google search, and I learned that this amp debuted in 2005.
I didn't look to see if it's still in production-the odds are heavily against.
The only review I found (yes, I know curiosity killed the cat)
Said it needed heavy EQ for each guitar used.
And somehow I missed it.

Eh, an answer to a question no one asked.

Speaker cabs have been made the same way since the invent of them. If the acoustic guitar type soundhole was superior I'm sure they'd have figured that out. And I would have expected this kind of experiment in the early amp builds. Matter of fact the early jazz amps of the 30's and 40's seemed to have a piece of wood baffle over the top of the grille cloth. Different cutouts for different manufacturers.
