The neck is not finished just yet. This shows a base coat of finish soon to be leveled and another round of coats to be applied after which more fine leveling and then some cure time and then buffing. Itís a slow process

Slow, perhaps, but well worth the wait! John usually times it so the neck is done about the time the body comes back from Tony, the Finish Wizard...

Cheers

Paul

So, John has had a Santa workshop going on the side. Stealing this from Mike's build thread:

"Ok guys. Here is what is slowing me down. Hand made Christmas presents. This will be a clock for my wife with wooden gears. Home made zircote plywood and spalted maple veneers over the Baltic ply frame."

Smile NYE greetings AGF

Thank you Dennis! I have waited to respond not wanting to bump with no news...

I expect we will hear more from John soon, meanwhile:

This is from Walter Meyer. Cindy's friend and excellent writer. My slight edit
for here:

New Year’s hottest club is...Staying Home. This place has EVERYTHING! Cheap drinks. Heavy pours. Your favorite spot
(and sport) on the couch.

No bathroom lines. No cover for ladies (masks & bras not required).
Unlimited VIP fridge access.

Live performances by you!

Also, staring at your phone & MORE!

Plus banging on pots and pans at midnight somewhere...

Be Smart, Stay Well, Have FUN

Paul

Paul its so shiny I can only see parts of John's shop from the reflection...

Those bevels are meant for cuddling to sleep I reckon.
