how to rectify misaligned string holes (btw the housing and post itself)
the guitar is a yamaha, nothing special, but I really love the thing.
it has only happened to the low strings. im going to upgrade the tuners in the next week or so, but for now id like to play the guitar. any ideas?? and how to prevent this sort of thing from happening?? Last edited by Kerbie; 12-22-2020 at 07:38 PM. Reason: Corrected picture. |

The nylon roller is slipping on the metal post. I use a pair of pliers to grip the nylon roller and twist it back into alignment with the metal post. I use a soft cloth so the pliers don't mark the nylon.
A drop of cyanoacrylate glue between the nylon roller and metal post will probably keep them in alignment. |
